Privacy Notice for the Protection of Personal Data

This clarification text has been prepared by RUA Software ("Company") in accordance with Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and the relevant legislation, in order to explain the procedures and principles regarding the processing of personal data of doctors and specialists whose personal data are processed by the Company.

Data Controller

Your personal data are processed by the Company, located at Mustafa Kemal Mahallesi, 2118 Cadde, No: 4a/36 Çankaya/ANKARA, in its capacity as data controller as specified in the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, limited to the explanations below.

Collection Methods and Legal Reasons for Your Personal Data

Your personal data, detailed below by categories, are processed by the Company in accordance with the legal reasons specified within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698.

Within the scope of the services offered by the Company through www.dr2connect.com ("Site"), personal data of doctors and specialists are collected verbally, in writing and electronically through the membership form, information systems, cookies, e-mail, call center and other information (such as biography) and documents submitted by the doctor or specialist who wants to register in the system. The personal information obtained from doctors or specialists is processed by the Company for the legal reasons and purposes listed below, provided that it is limited and proportionate and all kinds of technical and administrative protection methods are taken.

Processed Personal Data, Legal Reasons and Purposes

Data Category: Identity Information

The following personal data are processed on the legal grounds that the processing of personal data is explicitly stipulated in the laws, that it is necessary for the performance of a contract or directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, that it is necessary for the Company to fulfill its legal obligations, and that it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right.

Data Category: Contact Information

The following personal data are processed on the legal grounds that it is necessary for the processing of personal data belonging to the parties of a contract, that it is necessary to fulfill the legal obligations of the Company, etc.

Data Category: Financial Information

The following personal data are processed on the legal grounds that it is explicitly stipulated in the laws, necessary for the performance of a contract or directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, and necessary to fulfill the Company's legal obligations.

Data Category: Internet and Cookie Information

The following personal data are processed if you perform a transaction within the Site, on the legal grounds that the collection of personal data is explicitly stipulated in the laws, that it is necessary for the Company to fulfill its legal obligations, and that it is necessary for the legitimate interests of the Company provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.

Data Category: Professional and Resume Information

The following personal data are processed on the legal grounds that it is necessary for the processing of personal data belonging to the parties of a contract for the purpose of performing the contract. (Since the Site brings together doctors/specialists and clients, a diploma image is requested for verification from registered doctors and specialists.)

Data Category: Legal Transaction Information

The following personal data are processed on the legal grounds that the collection of personal data is explicitly stipulated in the laws and that it is necessary for the Company to fulfill its legal obligations.

Data Category: Association and Foundation Membership Information

Association and foundation membership information is considered special category personal data under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698. Therefore, your association and foundation membership information is processed only if you have explicit consent.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Personal data may be transferred as specified in Article 8 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data if the doctor or specialist has explicit consent, or if the conditions specified in paragraph 2 of Article 5 are met. Apart from these, under no circumstances are your personal data transferred by the Company to third parties or abroad for any purpose.

Your personal data may be transferred to the following third parties resident in the country for the purposes specified below, in cases where the transfer of personal data is explicitly stipulated in the laws, where it is necessary for the Company to fulfill its legal obligations, where it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and where it is necessary for the legitimate interests of the Company provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.

Your Rights as a Doctor/Specialist

Pursuant to Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 regarding your personal data;

• To learn whether your personal data are processed,
• If your personal data have been processed, to request information regarding this,
• To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
• To know the third parties to whom your personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
• To request correction of your personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,
• To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the legislation,
• To request that the transactions carried out in accordance with subparagraphs (e) and (f) be notified to the third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred,
• To object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems, and
• In case you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of personal data, to request the compensation of the damage.

Application and Complaint Process Regarding Your Personal Data

You can submit your applications regarding your above-mentioned rights in writing or by using the registered electronic mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature or the electronic mail address previously notified by you to the Company and registered in the Company's system.

In the application;

• a) Name, surname and signature if the application is in writing,
• b) For citizens of the Republic of Turkey, Turkish ID number; for foreigners, nationality, passport number or identity number if any,
• c) Residential or workplace address for notification,
• ç) If any, e-mail address, telephone and fax number for notification,
• d) The subject of the request is mandatory.

You can submit your application to the Company via the email address info[a]dr2connect.com. In addition, if you fill out the form on the website www.dr2connect.com and send a signed copy of the form to the Company address specified above together with the information and documents that will fulfill the application conditions, your applications will be answered as soon as possible and at the latest within thirty days, depending on the nature of your request. In addition, if deemed necessary during the evaluation of the relevant requests, additional information may be requested from the doctor/specialist upon his/her application. If the response to the application requires an additional cost, the fees in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Authority may be requested.
