Son 17 yıldan beri kulak burun boğaz disiplini içerisinde esas olarak kulak hastalıkları ile ilgilenmektedir.
1997 yılında A.B.D.’de House Ear Institute’ta (Los Angeles California) “Research scholar” olarak çalışırken kulak hastalıkları alanında çok değerli bilgiler edinmiştir.
Türkiye’ye geri döndükten sonra iç kulak anomalilerinde 1987 yılından beri kullanılan klasifikasyonun yeterli olmadığını farkedip radyoloji bölümü ile yaptığı çalışma sonrasında “A new classification for cochleovestibular malformations” (Laryngoscope 2002, 112: 2230-2241) adlı yazı yayınlanmıştır.
