Biography
Prof. Dr. Zeki Can, 21 Kasım 1961 tarihinde Ankara'da doğdu. 1985 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'nden mezun oldu. 1986-1987 yıllarında Aydın'da mecburi hizmet yaptıktan sonra, 1987-1993 yılları arasında Ankara Tıp Fakültesi Plastik Cerrahi bölümünde ihtisasını yaparak plastik, rekonstrüktif ve estetik cerrah olmuştur.
Bu dönem içerisinde iki yıl boyunca İngiltere'de 'UCL University College London Rayne Institute' da çalışmış, hücre kültürü ve sinir iyileşmesi üzerine araştırmalara katılmış ve üç boyutlu görüntüleme yöntemlerinin plastik cerrahide kullanımındaki yenilikleri takip etmiştir. İhtisas döneminde, 'Üç boyutlu görüntüleme yönteminin kulak rekonstrüksiyonundaki yeri' isimli tez konusu ile uzmanlığını tamamlamıştır.
2001 yılında 'Doçent' kadrosuna atanan Dr. Zeki Can, 2007 yılında 'Profesör' ünvanı almıştır. Halen Maidan'daki muayenehanesinde hasta kabulüne devam etmektedir.
